RESOURCE OVERVIEW:
These problem solving questions are designed to challenge able mathematicians in the lower primary level. They require students to extend their thinking, practice their mathematical discussion, express their understanding and justify their reasoning. Some of these problems may be quite quick to solve, others may need some perseverance and a slightly longer time frame. These problems encourage students to work systematically, sort and classify information, use reasoning, predict and test hypotheses and evaluate solutions.
